The Mollywood actress made her debut in the Tamil film industry with the film ‘Vaathi’ alongside Dhanush. The film was released in theatres on February 17 and it made a box office collection of more than Rs 100 crore. The film is now all set for its digital premiere. Though Samyuktha Menon has acted in the Tamil films ‘Kalari’ and ‘Erida’, ‘Vaathi’ / ‘Sir’ only marked her debut as the female lead in Kollywood and Tollywood.
